I’ll never forget the first Workday Rising I attended after joining the company almost 10 years ago. It was a relatively small gathering, yet the stories being shared were filled to the brim with excitement and optimism for the future. Since then, the Workday community has expanded across the world, with more than 8,000 of us planning to gather for Workday Rising in Chicago from October 9-12.
While we have grown quickly, many things that make Workday Rising so unique have stayed the same. We operate as a supportive, close-knit group. We’re able to rapidly learn from one another and share ideas and innovations, because we’re all on thesame version. We build new connections, and celebrate our successes together. And we are still as excited and optimistic as ever for the future.
It’s a truly special experience, and one we believe our regular attendees would agree isn’t your typical vendor conference. We‘re focused on preserving what makes Workday Rising special, no matter how big the conference gets.
We continue to make important adjustments, too. We have more types of attendees at all career levels joining us now— professionals and managers in finance, HR, and IT, as well as CFOs, CHROs, CIOs, and CEOs. That’s why we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how we can make sure every attendee gets the most out of the conference. Here’s a snapshot of what to expect at this year’sWorkday Rising.

We also have tracks for those interested inpayrolland workforce management,Workday Student, and getting the most out of your Workday investment with best practices for change management, deployment, and user adoption.

In our Business Leader Forums, industry and business leaders share what’s on the horizon and how to move forward with clarity and confidence. In our breakout sessions, learn from product experts and customers on how to get even more out of Workday. You may want to join one of our 20-minute Tips and Tricks sessions, or practice on a sample Workday tenant in our hands-on lab. And we’ll once again have Table Talks, where customers swap ideas and discuss business challenges and solutions.
Introducing Braindate. If you could pick another customer’s brain, what would you want to learn? We’re excited to bring this new peer-to-peer learning and networking experience to Workday Rising. You’ll be able to request meetings with other customers who share your interests or can offer their expertise in particular areas, or give back by sharing your expertise with others.
Workshops and Programs.We’ll have a number of training and enablement workshops the day before the conference starts. Throughout the conference, we’ll have Office Hours—30-minute, one-on-one consultations with Workday experts. There will be an accreditation program, with opportunities for finance, HR, and payroll professionals to earn continuing education and recertification credits. And we’re bringing back our Alumni Program, with reserved keynote seating and more to those who’ve attended every year since 2014.
Fun and Rewarding Activities.It can’t be all work. We’ll offer an opportunity to give back to local charities through an interactive experience created by theWorkday Foundation. And of course, we’ll all get together and celebrate at our Customer Appreciation Party.
And More.There will be keynotes featuring innovative customers, industry visionaries, and Workday executives. In our Innovation Exchange Expo, you’ll learn about the latest from Workday and our sponsoring partners.
