Rowan Miranda is senior managing partner for government strategy at Workday.
Rowan brings more than 30 years of experience in public finance, public management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) strategy and implementations. Before joining Workday in 2020, Rowan served as finance practice leader for Accenture’s U.S. public service and higher education industry group. In addition to CFO roles in municipal government early in his career, Rowan served as vice president for operations and CFO at the University of Chicago and associate vice president for finance at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
He has served on several boards/committees including finance chair of the Giant Magellan Telescope Organization (GMTO) and University of Chicago Charter School System. Rowan holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s Irving B. Harris School of Public Policy Studies, and has a master’s degree in political science and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
