Ashley Goldsmith is Chief People Officer bij Workday en heeft wereldwijd de verantwoordelijkheid voor human resources, global impact en de Workday Foundation.

Voor Workday was Ashley CHRO en Executive Vice President bij Polycom. Daarvoor was ze senior vice president voor human resources, communicatie, milieu en veiligheid voor de Tissue Diagnostics Division bij F. Hoffmann-La Roche. Ashley heeft ook als CHRO gewerkt bij Ventana Medical Systems en als Divisional Vice President of Human Resources bij The Home Depot.

Ashley heeft een masterdiploma in Business Administration van de Kellogg School of Management van de Northwestern University, een masterdiploma in Human Resource Development van Georgia State University en een bachelordiploma in psychologie van Vanderbilt University. Ze is een Fellow bij de National Academy of Human Resources en lid van de Foundation Board of Trustees. Ashley is ook lid van de raad van bestuur van de Human Resources Policy Association, evenals van Cornell's Center for Advanced Human Resources Studies en de San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
