What is Workday Rising EMEA?

Workday Rising EMEA is the annual culmination of technology, innovation and community where attendees take on a changing world together. Workday Rising EMEA is an immersive experience offering inspiration, education, connection and celebration.

Workday Rising EMEA takes place 14–16 November at the CCIB in Barcelona, Spain. Workday Rising EMEA is an in-person only event.

All attendees are responsible for their travel and hotel costs.

Yes. Customers may purchase Group Passes during initial registration and make the most of our discounted rates.

This programme is for Workday customers who wish to purchase bulk registration passes in advance of the conference and invite peers from their organisation to register with the purchased passes. The rates are based on the current registration fee at the time of purchase:

  • 6–9 passes: €100 discount per pass

  • 10–49 passes: €125 discount per pass

  • 50+ passes: €150 discount per pass



Requests for payment via invoice will only be allowed until12 October. All invoice payments must be received by no later than the 30 October to ensure access to Workday Rising EMEA. If payment has not been received, your attendees will not be granted to the event. There are no refunds for passes purchased from a Group Pass.Group Passes purchases are not available onsite. The rates are only valid when purchasing Full Experience Pass packages and do not apply with any other discount or promotion. The rates are based on the current registration fee at the time of purchase and are valid on wire transfer and credit card payments only.

No. You can add names to your Group Passes(s) later by logging in to yourGroup Passes Portal.

If you have already invited someone but they have not completed their registration, you can remove their names and invite others on yourGroup Passes Portal. If they are already registered, contact us atrisingemearegistration@workday.eventsdirectly.

Yes, this is the only process for taking advantage of the Group Passes rate.

You are welcome to bring a guest to the Customer Appreciation Party on Thursday evening by purchasing an additional Customer Appreciation Party Pass (limited availability) during the registration process. The €400 pass includes transportation, food, beverages and entertainment. Guests must be 18 or older and present a valid ID. Guests are not permitted to other functions or public areas of the conference. If you already registered, please email theWorkday Rising EMEA teamto add the guest pass.

Email theWorkday Rising EMEA teamfor any changes to your registration. To edit or cancel your hotel reservation, log in to theAttendee Portaland go to My Account.

All registration cancellations must be received in writing.Email your cancellation notice to theWorkday Rising EMEA team.

If you are registered but can no longer attend the event, then you may:

  • Transfer your conference pass to another person in your organisation

  • Cancel your conference pass

Yes, you may transfer your registration to another person within your organisation.Email the Workday Rising EMEA teamwith the names, titles, and email addresses of both the original and substitute registrants by 13 November 2023. Substitutions may not be granted after this date. Credits are not issued for a future Workday Rising EMEA programme.

No persons under 18 years of age will be permitted at the conference, including in breakout sessions, keynotes and all other event venues.

These 30-minute, one-on-one meetings give you the opportunity to get advice on configuration or specific Workday features that are already part of your subscription. Attendees are required to request an appointment in advance of the event. Appointments are subject to review and approval. These meetings can be scheduled viaMy Accountand will appear in your personal schedule once approved. Limited to one per person. Appointments may be requested starting in October.

Where is the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB)?

The Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB) is located at Plaça de Willy Brandt, 11-14, 08019 Barcelona, Spain.

Barcelona has one international airport, the Jose Tarradellas Barcelona- El Prat Airport, located 18km from the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB) and 15km from the city centre.

No, transportation will not be provided to or from the airport, but you can purchase transportation services at the airport.

All hotel changes must be made on theMy Accountpage before 17 October 2023 (16:00 CEST). After this date, you will receive a final hotel confirmation email that contains the hotel-issued confirmation number. You may then contact the hotel directly for changes.

All reservations will be charged in full from 17 October 2023 (16:00 CEST). After this date, any cancellation made will not receive a refund. Please note that this transaction may take five business days to appear on your statement.

If you do not check in on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will reinstate your reservations, ready for arrival the next day. Payment for your hotel will have already been processed in advance of your stay (full non-refundable payments will be processed from 17 October 2023) and there will be no refund or additional charges for non-arrival.
