Workday Rising is the annual culmination of technology, innovation, and community where attendees take on a changing world together. With in-person and digital options, Workday Rising is an immersive experience offering inspiration, education, connection, and celebration.
Workday Rising takes place September 26–29, 2023, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. For those unable to attend, we also offer two digital experience options.

All attendees are responsible for their travel and hotel costs.
There are additional benefits to attending in person that are not available through the digital experience. These include meetups for shared industries and interests, live peer-to-peer learning at the Braindate Lounge, complimentary 30-minute Ask-an-Expert appointments (for customers only), conversations with the session leaders, and the Innovation Hall.
This program is for Workday customers who wish to purchase bulk registration passes in advance of the conference and invite peers from their organization to register with the purchased bundle. The rates are based on the current registration fee at the time of purchase:
Enterprise and Federal Government Group Bundle Rates:
5 to 9 passes: $100 off each pass
10 to 49 passes: $125 off each pass
50 to 99 passes: $150 off each pass
100+ passes: $200 off each pass
Education, Public Sector, and Nonprofit Group Bundle Rates:
4 to 7 passes: $100 off each pass
8 to 34 passes: $125 off each pass
35 to 64 passes: $150 off each pass
65+ passes: $200 off each pass
The Group Bundle Program expires on September 12, 2023. Group bundle purchases are not available onsite. The rates are only valid when purchasing Full Experience Passes through theGroup Bundle Portaland do not apply with any other discount or promotion. The rates are based on the current registration fee at the time of purchase and are valid on wire transfer and credit card payments only. Group bundle rates cannot be retroactively applied to any previous pass purchases.Individual passes cannot be refunded if purchased as a group bundle. Invoices must be paid in order to complete registration.

No. You can add names to your Group Bundle(s) later by logging in to yourGroup Bundle Portal.
If you have already invited someone but they have not completed their registration, you can remove their names and invite others on yourGroup Bundle Portal. If they are already registered, contact us atrisingregistration@workday.eventsdirectly.
Group Bundles will no longer be available after September 12, 2023.
When you add the names and email addresses of your colleagues in theGroup Bundle Portal, each person will receive an email inviting them to register and book their accommodations.
Yes.
The individual that purchases the Group Bundle has the option to assign a pass to themselves or not. All group passes receive the same conference benefits and access.
Yes, if you purchase the Group Bundle(s) during the Early Bird period (through August 1, 2023) you can combine the group bundle and Early Bird rates.
Yes, this is the only process for taking advantage of the Group Bundle rate.
You are welcome to bring a guest to the Customer Appreciation Party on Thursday night by purchasing an additional Customer Appreciation Party Pass (limited availability) during the registration process. The $300 pass includes transportation, food, beverages, and entertainment. Guests must be 18 or older and present a valid ID. Guests are not permitted to other functions or public areas of the conference. If you already registered, please email theWorkday Rising teamto add the guest pass.
Email theWorkday Rising teamfor any changes to your registration. To edit or cancel your hotel reservation, log in to theAttendee Portaland go toMy Account.
All registration cancelations must be received in writing.Email your cancelation notice to the Workday Rising team.
If you are registered but can no longer attend the event, then you may:
Change your conference pass from in-person to digital
Transfer your conference pass to another person in your organization
Cancel your conference pass
In-Person Pass Cancelation
Cancelation before or on August 31, 2023: Full refund of registration fee (minus a $150 administration fee)
Cancelation between September 1–25, 2023: 50% refund of registration fee
Cancelation or change after September 25, 2023: No refunds. Your in-person registration will allow access to on-demand content viewable at any point for 60 days.

Yes, you may transfer your registration to another person within your organization.Email the Workday Rising teamwith the names, titles, and email addresses of both the original and substitute registrants bySeptember 25, 2023. Substitutions may not be granted after this date. Credits are not issued for a future Workday Rising program.

No persons under 18 years of age will be permitted at the conference, including in breakout sessions, keynotes, and all other Event venues.
Yes, we have many sessions that qualify for CPE credit. When the Session Catalog is live, you will be able to filter by the types of credits offered by NASBA and SHRM.
These 30-minute, one-on-one meetings give you the opportunity to get advice on configuration or specific Workday features that are already part of your subscription. Attendees are required to request an appointment in advance of the event. Appointments are subject to review and approval. These meetings can be scheduled in theAttendee Portaland will appear in your personal schedule once approved. Limited to one per person. Appointments may be requested starting in mid-August.

At Workday Rising, the safety and security of all of our attendees is our top priority. The Workday Global Workplace Safety team continues to closely monitor the safety conditions of the San Francisco metro-area. To further strengthen our safety measures, we have established regular safety meetings with the San Francisco Travel Association (SFTA). These collaborative efforts allow us to leverage SFTA’s local expertise and insights, such that we may implement industry-leading safety protocols at Workday Rising. With a steadfast commitment to safety and security, we strive to provide a worry-free experience for all attendees.

Major airlines provide air travel into the following locations:
San Francisco International Airport (SFO), located about 12 miles from Moscone Center (MC)
Oakland International Airport (OAK), located about 19 miles from Moscone Center (MC).
San José Mineta International Airport (SJC), located about 56 miles from Moscone Center (MC).
No, transportation will not be provided to or from the airport; however, you can purchase transportation services at the airport.
Yes, select hotels will offer shuttle service to and from Moscone Center. All others are considered walkable.
September is beautiful with a high of 70°F during the day, and a low of 50°F at night.
The dress code is business casual. We do not host any formal business or social networking functions. While we do our best to control the temperature in session rooms, we recommend you bring a removable layer for your comfort.
There are over 50 hotels contracted for Workday Rising with discounted rates ranging from $289 to $585 depending on availability—the average rate is $368. To view the full list of contracted hotels, you must complete your registration and then log in to the Attendee Portal.
Discounted hotel rates are available until August 30, 2023, or until the room block is sold out.

Yes. All the hotels require a deposit payment equal to one night of room and tax in order to guarantee your reservation. The hotel will charge the deposit payment using the credit card on the reservation on or after August 30, 2023.
You will receive a hotel confirmation email upon completing your booking. This email does not contain the hotel confirmation number. However, a final hotel confirmation email will be sent after September 15, 2023 when our team receives the hotel issued confirmation number.
All hotel changes must be made in theAttendee Portalthrough August 30, 2023. After this date, you will receive a final hotel confirmation email that contains the hotel-issued confirmation number. You may then contact the hotel directly for changes.

Yes; although there is no fee, registration is required to access the Digital Essentials pass.

Yes. All of the Workday Rising digital content is included with the Full Experience Pass.
Digital passes may be purchased up until the date of the event and after the event has concluded, since on-demand sessions will be available.
Workday Rising digital content will remain available on the current platform to registrants 60 days after the event concludes.

You can tune in to the live event from just about anywhere on any device, as long as you have stable Wi-Fi. It’s also a good idea to limit other streaming on your network, such as video games and TV, while watching our live events.

Digital Braindates are a great way to exchange knowledge and share your expertise with fellow digital attendees. Create a new topic or join an existing one, either one on one or in small groups.
